Welcome to the session on Designing Effective Assessments for Online and Hybrid Learning Environments. This program was held on Thursday, 5 March 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and was led by Dr. Faiz Asraf bin Saparudin from the Faculty of Engineering Technology. Dr. Faiz also serves as the Head of Department at the Centre for Academic Development and TVET, UTHM.
In today’s rapidly evolving education landscape, traditional evaluation methods often struggle to capture the true depth of student learning. This session introduces innovative strategies and digital tools that empower educators to design assessments that are fair, interactive, and impactful across both online and hybrid settings. At the end of this program, participants are hoped to gain practical insights into creating assessments that not only measure learning outcomes effectively, but also enhance student engagement and foster continuous improvement.
