Welcome to the workshop on AI-Integrated Pedagogy for Meaningful Learning. This program was held on 6th August 2026 and hosted by the Centre for Virtual Learning, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). The course was conducted by Prof. Dr. Abd Karim Alias, a principal fellow at UNITEN and leading expert in digital learning.

Prof. Dr. Karim guided participants through the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence tools—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google Vids—into higher education. The session emphasized moving beyond basic content creation and AI detection to focus on scaffolded instruction, differentiated learning, and practical applications like generating digital avatars and interactive visual media.

At the end of this course, educators gained valuable insights into leveraging AI as a collaborative teaching assistant to enhance active student participation, streamline lesson design, and drive meaningful learning outcomes.
